Lafayette " Funeral Services for Jamie Cade Huval, 26, will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard with Father Louis Richard officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with the recitation of the rosary at 7:00 PM and will resume on Thursday, December 4, 2008 from 9:00 AM until time of services.

A native of Lafayette and resident of Youngsville, Jamie passed away at 5:45 PM on Monday, December 1, 2008 at LTAC of Acadiana. Jamie was a fun person to be around. He was always surrounded by family and friends that loved him very much. He always had a smile on his face. His favorite past time prior to his automobile accident in March of 2003 was hanging out with his friends and having family get-togethers. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jamie had a new past time after his accident which was paying Tic-Tac-Toe, arm wrestling, playing thumb war and having pillow fights. Jamie was a very giving person and was always willing to help someone in need. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Mitzi LeBlanc Romero and her husband, John W. Romero of Youngsville; his brother, Cody James Romero of Youngsville; his sisters, Kayla Huval and Whitney Romero, both of Youngsville; his maternal grandfather, Lawrence LeBlanc and wife Nancy of Morgan City; his maternal great-grandmother, Lorena Guilbeaux Guillot of Carencro; his paternal grandparents, Steve and Alta Huval of Arnaudville, LA; his step-grandparents, Lovelace and Mary Romero of Broussard; his uncles, Darryl LeBlanc and wife, Penny of Abbeville and Peanut LeBlanc of Cecilia; his aunts, Melissa Weeks and husband, Buddy of Foley, AL, Lisa Huval of Arnaudville, LA, Judy Lanclos and husband, Bobby of Arnaudville, LA; great aunts, Sadie Quibodeaux and husband Rodney of Scott, Norma Leger and husband Brad of Leonville, Donna Robin of Pierre Part; and several cousins.

Pallbearers will be Lawrence LeBlanc Jr., Darryl Dale LeBlanc, Buddy Weeks, Robbie Hirata, Jules Quibodeaux, Dane LeBlanc, Ryan Weeks and Shane Gaspard.
