Lafayette " A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Youngsville with Fr. Jason Mouton officiating. Interment will follow at St. Annes Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 6:00PM until 10:00PM and will resume Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 8:00AM until services. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00PM with Keith landry. Mrs. Broussard, a native of Youngsville and resident of Lafayette passed away Monday, December 7, 2009 at a local hospital. She is survived by daughters; Deborah Stelly and husband Raymond and Bertha Stelly and husband Wayne both of Abbeville; sons, Daniel Paul Bertrand of Port Arthur, TX., Dalton Bertrand and wife Sandra of Orange, TX., Darrell Bertrand and wife Nadine of Abbeville, Robert Bertrand of Lafayette, and Rickey Bertrand of TX., brother, Wilbert Alphonse and wife Rose from Yardley, PA.; sisters, Joyce Landry and husband Raymond of Broussard, Rose Tribe and husband Russell of Broussard, Ella Rose Prejean and husband Harry of Youngsville and Rella Breaux of Toungsville; twenty one grandchildren and twenty four great grand children. Preceded in death by her parents, Paul Alphonse and Ena Decou Alphonse; a son, Otis Bertrand, and a brother, Leo P. Alphonse. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
