Erath " Funeral Services for Mr. Harry J. Landry, 87, will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville, with Deacon David Vaughn officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 8:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park in New Iberia. A resident of Erath Mr. Landry passed away on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 5:47PM at a local Lafayette hospital. Mr. Harry was a loving father and grandfather. Mr. Landry was a retired tool pusher in the oilfield. He is survived by two daughters, Betty Bergeron and her husband Alvin of Franklin, and Rebecca Viator of New Iberia; a special friend, Patricia Williamson of Milton; long time companion, Winnes Delahoussaye; four grandchildren, Anthony Hebert, Toby Hebert, Lon Viator, and Amber Lynn Landry; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Louviere Landry; his parents, Veles Landry and Levee LeBlanc Landry; brother, Calvin Pete Landry; sister, Inez L. Bonin; son Bryan David Landry; and grandson Craig Viator. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
