Loving Aunt and Sister Jeanerette " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Willard Sharritt the former Gertrude Hebert, Age 95, at 2:00PM Friday January 2, 2009 at David Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Millsaps officiating. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Memorial Park Mausoleum in Jeanerette. Visitation will be Friday January 2, 2009 from 8:00AM until service time. A native of Patoutville, longtime resident of Alabama and resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Sharritt was a current resident of Belle Teche Nursing Center in New Iberia and died in a Lafayette health care facility at 1:40AM Thursday January 1, 2009.She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jeanerette and belonged to a quilting club in Jeanerette. Survivors include one sister; Florence Fontenot of Lake Charles, one brother; Eugene Bouillion of Coteau Holmes, a nephew; Gerald J. Hebert and wife Mary G. of Jeanerette, good friends; Pearl Squire, Shirley Landry, Josie Walton and Lee Jay Leger all of Jeanerette and all her friends at Belle Teche Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard Sharritt, her parents; Valmont and Rose Louviere Hebert and two brothers; Whitney G. Hebert and Morris Broussard. Pallbearers will be Dalton Sonnier, Ronald Hebert, Frank Guiberteau and Daniel Borel. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Jay Leger and Eugene Bouillion.
