New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Ralston Bobby Arabie, 61, on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007 at 3:00 PM at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Charles Langlois and Father Greg Cormier officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007 from 11:00 AM until services and rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007 at 1:00 PM.

A native of Judice and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Arabie died on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007 at 7:24 PM in a Lafayette hospital. He was a graduate of McNeese University and is currently retired. He was an avid sports fan and loved being outside and working in the yard. He loved spending time with family and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Resweber Arabie of New Iberia; his children, Charles Arabie and his wife Alana of Gulfport, MS; Brandon Arabie and his wife Catherine of Abbeville; Stephannie Arabie of Grand Isle; Stella Arabie-Delcambre and her husband Tony of New Iberia; Damon Arabie and his wife Penny of Superior, CO; Esther Nicole Arabie Thompson and her husband Brian; Sarah Rodrigue and her husband John; Lucy Ryals and her husband Jeremy; Anne Jones and her husband Dale all of New Iberia; Anthony Arabie and Alan Arabie both of Lafayette; his sister, Cynthia Baudoin and her husband Ray of Rayne; his brothers, Sonny Arabie and his wife Esther of Ridge; Randall Arabie of San Antonia, TX; Ken Arabie and his wife Sharon of Lafayette and Cal Arabie and his wife Gennie of Slidell. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Paul Arabie and Altie Simon Arabie; his sisters, Judith Trahan and Marilyn Arabie; his 1st wife, Claire Thayer Arabie and his granddaughter, Cheyenne Arabie.

Pallbearers will be Sonny, Ken, Cal, Damon, Anthony and Allen Arabie.

Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Delcambre and Gabriel Segura.

The family request memorials to defray funeral expenses.
