New Iberia "Funeral Services will be conducted for Shawn Reid Popcorn Hebert, Age 38, at 11:00AM Saturday September 22, 2007 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Salvino Ruben Primor officiating. Interment will follow in Nativity of Our Lady Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday September 21, 2007 from 12:00PM until 10:00PM with a praying of the Rosary at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume Saturday from 8:00AM until time of service. He died Wednesday September 19, 2007 at 10:04PM in a local hospital.

A native of Lafayette, Shawn had been a resident of New Iberia many years. He was a fabrication foreman for Industrial Fabrication Corporation. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. Survivors include his wife Trina Pattillo Hebert of New Iberia, his mother; Celia Landry Hebert of Lafayette, sisters; Geraldine H. Trappey of Houston, Texas, Judith H. Dansdill of Lafayette, Cynthia H. Frioux and husband Daniel of New Iberia and Tina D. Derouen and husband Howard of Rayne, one brother; James Dansdill of Lafayette, loving pets; Beau and Pete and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy P. Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Cordell Broussard, Robby Copeland, Wes, Jeff and Mark Pattillo and Randy Daigle. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Decuire, Jr., Caleb and Ethan Copeland, Seth, Cody and Heath Pattillo.
