A Friend To All Jeanerette " Funeral Services will be conducted for Gerard J. G Landry, Age 53, at 3:00PM Thursday January 14, 2010 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00AM until service time. A Rosary will be prayed Thursday at 11:00AM. A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, he died Sunday January 10, 2010 at 11:00AM in a local hospital. Gerard worked as a mechanic for M.A. Patout Sugar Mill and was an avid outdoorsman. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Gary Landry of Jeanerette; his mother, Betty Hebert Landry of Jeanerette; children, Dirk Landry and Chad Patout both of Jeanerette; one sister, Wanda LeBlanc and husband Mark of Patterson; two brothers, Lawrence Landry and wife Tina and Paul Landry and wife Elaine all of Jeanerette; grandchildren, Breigh Patout of Jeanerette, Ory and Tyler Patout both of New Iberia and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond F. Landry Jr. David Funeral Home, 400 Provost St. Jeanerette, La. (337)276-5151 is in charge of arrangements.
