New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Marcial Dugas the former Bertha LeBlanc, Age 95, at 10:00AM Monday December 21, 2009 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Blaine Clement officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday December 20, 2009 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Monday from 8:00AM until service time. A native of Iberia Parish, longtime resident of New Iberia and resident of Grapevine, Texas, Mrs. Dugas died Sunday December 13, 2009 at 12:15AM in a Texas health care facility. She was a seamstress at Bowabs for 30 years. She was head usher at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic for many years and was also a quilt maker who made many quilts for new born babies. Mrs. Dugas was also a member of the St. Anne's Altar Society. Survivors include her sons, Gregory Dugas and Patrick Dugas of New Iberia and Keith Dugas of Grapevine, Texas; two brothers, Alvin LeBlanc of Loreauville and E.J. LeBlanc of New Iberia; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcial Dugas; parents, Norbert and Marie Romero LeBlanc; one brother, Jules LeBlanc and three sisters, Annie Mae Landry, Georgia Delcambre and Ethel Meaux. Pallbearers will be Christopher, Cameron and Kevin Dugas, David Bourgeois Sr., David Bourgeois, Jr. and Brandon Russell.
