New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Ms. Lucy Castillo Segura, 68, on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 3:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Charles Langlois officiating. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 10:00 AM until services and a rosary will be prayed in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Born in Mexico City, Lucy was a longtime resident of New Iberia and proudly became a United States Citizen in recent years. She was the owner of Seguras Rapid Press, formerly Kwik Kopy for 27 years. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of the New Iberia Rotary Club. Lucy was a two time survivor of Lymphoma. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Segura of Houston, TX; her brothers, Guillermo Castillo of Mexicali, Mexico, Alejandro Castillo and Gerardo Castillo both of Mexico City, Mexico; her brother-in-law, Ronnie Segura of New Iberia; her sister-in-law, Liz Segura of New Iberia; her niece, Marie Segura of New Iberia; her nephew, Dr. Ron Segura of New Orleans; her step-daughters, Barbara Segura Brightwell of Austin, TX and Deborah Segura Kramer of New Iberia; her step-son, Richard Segura, Jr. of Austin, TX and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Brightwell, Trever Brightwell, Trey Segura, Will Segura, Jenny Segura, Kent Kramer, III, Kalbe Kramer and Amelie Kramer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guillermo and Laura Jimenez Castillo and her sister, Anna Castillo.
