Patricia Owens Theriot

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Francis Theriot the former Patricia Owens, Age 69, at 11:00AM Wednesday February 11, 2009 at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Father Richard Green officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday February 10, 2009 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a Prayer Service being held at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Wednesday from 8:00AM until service time.

A native of Iberia Parish and longtime resident of New Iberia Mrs. Theriot died Saturday February 7, 2009 at 2:30PM at her residence in New Iberia. She enjoyed going to the casino and caring for her family.

Survivors include her husband; Francis Theriot of New Iberia, children; Frances Ann Romero and husband Ivy John Jr., Jimmie Theriot and wife Theresa, Delores Prados and husband Randy and daughter/sister; Alice Hoofard all of New Iberia, four sisters; Theresa Schouest, Mary Jane Goodwin and Doris Burke all of New Iberia and Audrey Zielke of Michigan and one brother; Wilfred Owens, Jr. and wife Lindaof Maurice, grandchildren; Francine and Ivy John Romero III, Eric and Elizabeth Oubre, Patricia and Kyle Theriot, Heather, Hannah, Matthew and Marissa Prados and Tabbitha Hoofard all of New Iberia, great grandchildren; Isaiah and Ilijah Romero and Jaquline Romero all of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her parents; Wilfred and Lillian Landry Owens, children; Eddie, Adam and Peggy Theriot, one sister; Rita Gallagher and a granddaughter; Karen Louise Theriot.

Pallbearers will be Jimmie and Kyle Theriot, Isaiah and Ivy John Romero III, Matthew Prados and Bobby Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ivy John Romero, Jr., Randy Prados, Sergio Vargas, Marion Goodwin, Robert Zielke, Lawless Burke and Clyde Hoofard.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
