Jeanerette " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Alvin Landry the former Rita Marie Rogers, Age 80, at 9:00AM Monday, April 12, 2010 at David Funeral Home in Jeanerette with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 11, 2010 beginning at 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6:30 PM.

A native of New Iberia and longtime resident of Jeanerette Mrs. Landry died Friday, April 9, 2010 at 9:08 PM in a Jeanerette health care facility.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra D. Courville and husband Ronald Sr. of Jeanerette; one brother, Johnny Rogers and a sister Elaine Rogers LeBlanc both of New Iberia; 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin "Neg" Landry; parents, Adam and Julia Sedatol Rogers; three brothers, Jerry, J.C. and J.T. Rogers and a sister, Theresa Rogers Judice.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Courville, Sr., Ronald Courville, Jr., Randy Courville, Chris Anderson, Shawn Rawllins and Jeremy Molancon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan and Ricky Courville.
