Sybil Oubre Mullican

Loreauville- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. John Mullican, Sr., the former, Sybil Oubre, age 72, Friday, January 15, 2010 at 11:00AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Fr. Donald Pelous officiating. Interment will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Friday from 8:00AM until time of services.

A native and resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Mullican passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 8:00PM in a local hospital.

Survivors include her husband, John Mullican, Sr. of Loreauville; her daughter, Ramona Ryan and husband Bernard of Loreauville; her son, John Mullican, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Dallas, TX; granddaughter, Coleen Ryan LaGrange and husband Ryan of Youngsville.

Mrs. Mullican was preceded in death by her parents, Fernand Oubre and Lota Broussard Oubre.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Mullican, Jr., Bernard Ryan, Ryan LaGrange, John Lawson, James Braquet and Ames Dupuis, Jr.
