Barbara Fournet Resweber

Visitation will be Monday, January 18, 2010 from 9:00AM until service time at 2:00PM.

A native of St. Martin Parish and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Resweber passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 11:20PM in a local hospital. Mrs. Resweber enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Renee R. Arabie and Janel Resweber both of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Charles Arabie and his wife Alana of Gulfport, MS; Brandon Arabie and his wife Catherine of Abbeville; Stephannie Arabie of Grand Isle; Stella Arabie-Delcambre and her husband Tony of New Iberia; Damon Arabie and his wife Penny of Broomfield, CO; Nicole Arabie Thompson , Sarah Arabie Rodrigue, Lucy Ryals and husband Jeremy, Anne Jones and husband Dale, all of New Iberia; Anthony Arabie and Alan Arabie of Lafayette; Sunny Gardner and husband Kaleb, Heather Turner and husband Joseph, and Russell Louviere, all of New Iberia; and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlyle Resweber, her son, Carlyle Resweber, Jr., her parents, Williams Jennings Bryant Fournet and Lucy Durand Fournet, sisters, Jean Segura and Joan Romero and one brother, Jennings Fournet,Son-in-law: Ralston "Bobby" Arabie, Great Granddaughter: Cheyenne Arabie.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends of Mrs. Resweber.
