We Hope You Dance Jeanerette " Memorial services will be conducted for Rachel Margaret Weller, 19 on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 2:30 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Inurnment will follow in St. John Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM. A native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Lake Charles, Rachel died on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 8:07 AM from injuries received in an automobile accident in Estherwood, LA. She was employed with Pets Mart Stores in Baton Rouge and Lake Charles. She attended St. Louis King of France Elementary School and later attended Dutchtown High School where she was a member of the ROTC. She loved animals, reading, fishing, geology, fossils and just recently became interested in joining the Peace Corps. She also loved spending time with her friends. She is survived by her parents, Timothy Lee and Jamie Landry Weller of Prairieville, LA; her brother, Lance Michael Weller of Prairieville, LA; her uncles, Errol G. Landry and his wife Emily of Prairieville, LA, Kerry M. Landry and his wife Audrey, Kenneth K. Landry, Sr. and his wife Connie, David J. Landry and his wife Grace all of Jeanerette, and Ted William Weller and his wife Mary of Thibodeaux, LA; her aunts, Felicia L. Marks and her husband Ron of Lafayette, Cindy Boudreaux of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Wendy W. Baker and her husband Bill of Labadieville, LA and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, E. G. and Kathleen Landry; her paternal grandparents, Dr. R. F. and Loretta Weller and her aunt, Charlotte Landry.
