Coteau- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Armond Thibodeaux, the former, Eula Dore, age 89, Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with Fr. Barry Crochet officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday, January 22, 2010 atDavid Funeral Homeof New Iberiafrom 2:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM by the Catholic Mens Group. Visitation will resume Saturday from 8:00AM until the time of service. A native of Coteau and a longtime resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Thibodeaux passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 5:15AM in a local health care facility. Mrs. Thibodeaux was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1982 Auxiliary, the Ladies Altar Society, Parents Without Partners Group, and Charlottes Home Demonstration Club for 63 years. She taught religion at Our Lady of Perpetual Help for 16 years, she was a seamstress and also an Avon Representative for many years. Mrs. Thibodeaux enjoyed attending the Council on Aging dances. Survivors include her daughters, Ruby Romero and husband Roland of Coteau; Diane Broussard and husband Larry of Magnolia, TX; her son, Jerry J. Thibdoeaux and wife Mary of Williamsburg, VA; her grandchildren, Gordon D. Romero and wife Nicole of Broussard; Leslie R. Douet and husband Allen Douet, Jr. of Coteau; Eric P. Romero and wife Patricia of Houston, TX; Robin R. Lipari and husband Thomas of New Iberia; Jonathan J. Thibodeaux and wife Kathleen of Richmond, VA; Mary Beth Micahels and husband Jack of Williamsburg, VA; Shane Broussard of San Antonio, TX; AND Sherise Broussard Davila of San Antonio, TX; her great-grandchildren, Beau M. Buteaux of New Iberia; Lindsay C. Romero and Jason D. Romero of Broussard; Natalie R. Romero and Allison R. Romero, both of Houston, TX; Amber L. Douet of Coteau; Cade T. Lipari and Macy E. Lipari, both of New Iberia; Olivia Michaels, Madison B. Thibodeaux and Sarah G. Thibodeaux, all of Williamsburg, VA; Payton R. Broussard, Hunter M. Chisholm and Kyler J. Davila, all of San Antonio, TX; her great-great grandchild, Railey M. Buteaux of New Iberia; her sisters, Rena Dore Huval of Coteau; Jeanette Dore Viator of Coteau; and Agnes Dore Totten of Port Arthur, TX; and her sister-in-law, Rita Dore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Armond J. Thibodeaux, her parents, John Dore and Marie Pellerin Dore, her grandson, Barry Romero, her great grandson, Taylor Romero, brothers, Herman Dore and Raymond Dore, brother-in-laws, Arthur Totten and Abel Viator, and her sister-in-law, Sue Dore. Serving as pallbearers will be Gordon Romero, Jason Romero, Larry Broussard, Shane Broussard, Raymond Dore, Jr., Eric Romero and Beau Buteaux.
