Audrey Mae Bourque

Mrs. Bourque, a native and resident of Abbeville, passed away at 4:25PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at a local hospital. Mrs. Audrey was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She loved spending time with her family, especially her nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She enjoyed wrestling and listening to french music.

Remaining to cherish her memory is her son John J. C. Bourque, Jr. of Abbeville; her three daughters, Beverly Bourque, Margaret Bourque, and Mary Miguez and her husband Preston all of Abbeville; one brother, Calvin Menard and his wife Darlene of Delcambre; two sisters, Roberta Suire and her husband Raywood of Erath, Merline Menard of Abbeville; and her mother-in-law, Hortense Bourque.

She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Bourque, Sr.; her parents, Luke and Effie Hebert Menard; and two sisters Annie Segura and Velta Guillory.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Bourque, Warren Bourque, Paul Bourque, Jimmy Nicholas, Marcus Taylor, and Ronnie Dore.

The family would like to thank the staff of ICU at Abbeville General, Dr. Kerry Schexnaider, Dr. Harrington and Acadiana Home Health for the great care they gave to Audrey Bourque.
