Jeanerette " Funeral Services will be conducted for Nelson C. Boudreaux, Jr. MD., at 2:00PM Wednesday February 10, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise and Father Ed Degeyter concelebrating. Interment will follow at St. Johns Mausoleum. Visitation will be Tuesday February 9, 2010 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Wednesday from 9:00AM until time of service. Military graveside services will be conducted by members of the U.S. Army Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston Street, Lafayette, La. 70503. A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette he died Monday February 8, 2010, at 9:20AM at his residence in Jeanerette. DR. Boudreaux was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and woodworking.His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He practiced medicine in Jeanerette for over fifty years. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WWII. Survivors include his wife, Roselyn Butsy Macaione Boudreaux of Jeanerette, Children, Dr. Stephen A. Boudreaux and wife Liz, Anita B. Hebert and husband Lynn and Roselyn B. Ortega and husband Diego all of New Iberia, Marlin Buddy Boudreaux and wife Linda, Becky B. Morris and husband Keith and Annette B. Milligan and husband Shane all of Jeanerette and Barbara B. Broussard and husband Steve and Mary Beth Ardizone all of Lafayette, his sister in law, Margaret "Nanan" Macaione of Jeanerette; special friend and family member Geneva Wiles of Jeanerette, twenty three grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson C. Boudreaux Sr. and Gertrude Robicheaux Boudreaux; one brother, Marlin J. Boudreaux and a sister, Gwen B.Porch.
