Erath - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. David Bouillion, 85, will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, August 6, 2010, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Paul Broussard officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, August 6, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. A native and resident of Erath, Mr. Bouillion passed away at 12:15PM on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Bouillion was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. Mr. Bouillion served his country in the United States Army form 1943 to 1946 during WWII. David enjoyed game rooster, fishing and was an electrician who left his mark on Erath. Mr. Bouillion was a member of the Derouen-Moss American Legion Post 279 of Erath. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Celia Suire Bouillion; three daughters, Maxine B. Ledet and her husband Kenneth of Maurice, Leita Ann Bouillon of Erath, and Juanita Dale Bouillion of Erath; and brother, Eves Bouillion of Erath; eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Viliore and Elva Boudreaux Bouillion; grandchild; Damian Romero; great grandson, Cullen David Hebert; and brother, Minos Bouillion. Pallbearers will be son-in-law Kenneth Ledet; grandsons, Jarrett Ledet, Neal Ledet, Jonathan Bouillion, Joshua Bouillion , and great grandson Tyler Hebert David Funeral Home of Erath, 209 E.
