Charles Stone Reily Jr.

Avery Island- Charles Stone Reily, Jr., passed away June 18, 2010 at his home on Avery Island, LA.

Beloved husband of 63 years of Anne Brown Reily, father of Anne Reily Sutherlin, Cathy Reily Thomason (Chuck), and Charles Stone Reily, III. Also survived by his grandchildren, Leila Sutherlin Gamard (Tommy), Kelly Sutherlin Green (Carson), Robert Bradford Sutherlin, Jr. (Missy), John Reily Thomason (Renee), and his six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Reily was preceded in death by his mother, Esther Quinn Reily and his granddaughter, Sara McIlhenny Thomason.

A veteran of World War II, Captain in the 8 ^th Army Air Corp., completing 33 bombing missions over Germany as a pilot of a B24. Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Air Medal.

Mr. Reily spent his entire career in the oil and gas business.

He loved hunting, fly fishing, and Recessing. He was elected the first honorary member in the Mr. Big Pecan Hunting and Fishing Lodge.

Graveside services at The Grove, Avery Island, LA on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 1:00PM.
