Charles Faulkner

A native of Meridian, Mississippi and resident of Abbeville, Charles passed away at 6:40AM on Monday, March 16, 2009 at a Lafayette hospital. Charles loved fast cars, horses and camping. He loved life and was a big collector of eagles.

He is survived by his fiance, Rebecca Simon of Abbeville; daughter, Michelle Vice and husband Terry of Linden, AL and their children, Devin, Emmy, Tori and Braxton; daughter, Brandi Fitch and husband Brad, Sr. of Houma and their children, Brad, Jr., Braden and Brailyn; step-daughter, Angel Simon of Abbeville; step-son, Donny Menard and wife Angel of Cankton and their children, Colby and Peyton; step-daughter, Christina Brasseaux and husband Dwayne of Youngsville and their children, Brittany, Jeffrey, Nickolas and Blayne; his mother, Irene Sass of Meridian, MS; sisters, Caroline Faulkner of Meridian, MS and Patricia Gilbert and husband Greg of Meridian, MS; and numerous family and friends, whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ernest Faulkner and his grandparents.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Terry Vice, Brad Fitch, Billy Wright, Donny Menard, Jason Gilbert and Roy T-Roy Segura, Jr.
