Youngsville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Thelma Stelly Devillier, 80, will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Louis Richard officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, May 14, 2010 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:30PM and will resume on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 9:00AM until service time. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Mausoleum. A native of Arnaudville and resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Thelma passed away at 1:07AM on Friday, May 14, 2010 at a local hospital. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Thelma was always a caregiver to anyone in need. She is survived by her son, Joseph Devillier and wife Paulette of Prairie Ronde, LA; her daughter, Edna Mae Devillier Romero and husband Melvin of Youngsville; eight grandchildren, James Romero and wife Lori, Ronnie Romero and wife Colleen, Norman Devillier, Derrick Devillier, Dwight Devillier, Michelle Devillier, Lacey Devillier and Casey Devillier; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Velma Richard of Arnaudville, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Devillier; her parents, Saul and Eva Venable Stelly; brothers, Harry Stelly, Robert Stelly, Albert Stelly, Donia Diuie Stelly and Adley Stelly; and her sisters, Viola Guillory, Louise Sibille and Yula Stelly.
