Milton - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Raywood J. Decou, the former Lucette Baudoin, 80, will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, March 9, 2009 at 11:00AM with Father William Gearheard officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, March 8, 2009 from 12:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM and will resume on Monday, March 9, 2009 from 8:00AM until service time. Entombment will take place in St. Joseph Mausoleum in Milton. A native of Vermilion Parish and a resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Decou passed away at 10:40AM on Friday, March 6, 2009 at a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, Raywood J. Decou of Youngsville; her daughter, Shirley D. Rodrigue and husband Dale of Houma; three grandchildren, Christine Hebert and husband Kenny, Amy Clark, and Ricky Dugas and wife Kristyn, all of Youngsville; five grandchildren, Tyler Cormier, Amber Greene, Kimber Greene, Forrest Greene III and Braiden Dugas, all of Youngsville; and two sisters, Nita Veronie of Lafayette and her twin sister, Lucille Trahan of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dautriel and Angela Trahan Baudoin, two sisters and three brothers. Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Dugas, Kenny Hebert, Tyler Cormier, Paul Manning Baudoin, Felton Dore and Jerry Decou. The family would like to thank the staff of Lafayette General Medical Center and Hospice of Acadiana for the great care they gave to Mrs. Decou.
