Lafayette " Private memorial services for Mrs. Grady Richeson, the former Mildred Shults, 84, will be held at a later date. A native of Chico, Texas and resident of Lafayette, Mildred passed away at 11:05 a.m. on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Maison de Lafayette. She lived and worked most of her life in New Iberia. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking, cleaning and quilting. She is survived by her daughters, Edith Delcambre and husband, Webster of Teurlingua, Texas and Gladys Perry and husband, Peter of Maurice; four grandchildren, Jennifer Delcambre and fianc, Tim Webre of Lafayette, Brendan Delcambre and wife, Brandy of New Iberia, Shelly Kern of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Paige Bayliss and husband, Roger of Helensville, New Zealand; two great-grandchildren; one sister and one brother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Richeson; and her parents, Los and Hila May Wright Shults.
