Charlene Bourque Legnon

New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Charlene Bourque Legnon, Age 56, Wednesday March 4, 2009 at 1:30 PM at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family has requested visiting hours be observed Tuesday March 3, 2009 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM and will resume Wednesday March 4, 2009 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 6:30 PM in the funeral home.

Mrs. Legnon passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 11:30 AM in a New Iberia Hospital.

Mrs. Legnon was a resident of New Iberia. She was an office manager in the grocery business

She is survived by one son, Ryan Legnon and his wife Crystal of New Iberia; one daughter, Stephanie Legnon of New Iberia; her former husband, Wayne Legnon of New Iberia; two sisters, Joycelyn Broussard and her husband Presley of Maurice and Jaylene Grow and her husband Eric of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Justin, Caitlin, Cameron, and Madison Legnon; her faithful companion Jake, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Euclide Bourque and Winnie Belle Lopez Bourque and her nephew Kirk Broussard.

Serving, as pallbearers will be Ryan Legnon, Wayne Legnon, Eric Grow, Presley Broussard, Shane Segura, Glynn Broussard and Karl Broussard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Byron Morvant, Allan Ingram, Pat Breaux, Webb Lopez, Jr., Jerome Langlinais, Bryan Demarcay, and Charlie Shea.
