"Pe Paw" New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Larry Joseph Delcambre, Age 69, at 1:00PM Wednesday January 27, 2010 at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Father Mike Arnaud officiating. Interment will follow at Nativity Mausoleum. Visitation will be Tuesday January 26, 2010 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM by members of The Knights of Columbus Council 12997. Visitation will resume Wednesday from 8:00AM until service time. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Delcambre died Saturday January 23, 2010 at 12:45PM in a local health care facility. He was owner of Larry Delcambre Air Conditioning and Heating Inc for 23 years. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus Council 12997 and an usher at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church. Mr. Delcambre was a past member of the French Optimist Club and a member of the Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed gardening and cat fishing and he loved nothing more than being with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Josephine Jabbia Delcambre of New Iberia, sons Troy Delcambre and wife Kit of Youngsville and Scott Michael Delcambre of New Iberia; one daughter, Monica D. Viator and husband Clayton of New Iberia; sisters, Alura D. Benoit and husband William of Avery Island, Betty D. Landry, Georgia D. Olivier and companion Edward Morvant and Gail D. Castille and husband Larry all of New Iberia and a brother, Rickey James Delcambre and wife Kathy of Millerville, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Cody Cody Man Delcambre, Logan Boona Delcambre, Kyle Pugga Viator, Kristen Karie Viator, Jordyn Butter Bean Delcambre and Kaitlyn Rabbit Viator and the mother of Cody, Logan and Jordyn, Jennifer Moore of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his parents, Issac Joseph and Georgia LeBlanc Delcambre; a brother in law, Isaac Landry; a nephew, Louis Olivier Jr. and his in laws, Joe and Pearl LaBanca Jabbia. Pallbearers will be Cody Michael and Logan Joseph Delcambre, Kyle Joseph Viator, Ed Carl Nelson, Sr, John Mark Roseberry, Peter Jabbia, Larry Castille and Jean Dubois.
