Mildred Boudreaux Prejean

Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother Jeanerette- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Alcee Prejean, the former Mildred Boudreaux, age 69, Monday, February 22, 2010 at 3:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel in Jeanerette with Deacon Theo Landry officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 22, 2010 from 10:00AM until the time of service at 3:00PM with a recitation of a Rosary at 1:00PM. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Beau Pre Mausoleum. A native of Lafayette and resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Prejean passed away Friday, February 19, 2010 at 1:30AM at her residence in Jeanerette. She enjoyed babysitting and loved caring for her family. Survivors include her husband, Alcee Prejean of Jeanerette, her sons, Michael W. Prejean and wife Stella of Lafayette; Keith A. Prejean of Jeanerette and Kevin J. Prejean and wife Dewi of New Iberia; her daughter, Tracy P. Delcambre and husband Brian of Jeanerette; her grandchildren, Robyn Prejean Chataignier, Allyssa Prejean, Garrett Prejean, Dusty Vallot, Kevin Nick Prejean, Devin Prejean, Grant Delcambre and Bryce Delcambre, and her great-grandchildren, Nathan and Kylon Chataignier. She was preceded in death by her parents, Romain and Claire Sivne Boudreaux, her brothers, Alexander Boudreaux and Horace Boudreaux.
