Lafayette " A Mass of Christian Burial for Clifford Bud L. Broussard, 75, will be held at 3:00PM on Monday, March 30, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Gearheard officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, March 30, 2009 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. A native of Maurice and a resident of Lafayette Mr. Bud died on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at a Lafayette Hospital. He was known for having several careers. He began in the oilfield, then joined the army where he proudly served his country. After returning from the army he was a deputy for the Lafayette Parish Sheriff Dept. After he retired from the Sheriff Dept. He began his own business, which was B&L Trucking. His last job was doing general maintenance work for Wal-Mart. He is survived by five sons, Sha Broussard of Conroe, TX, Christopher Broussard of Broussard, Danny Broussard Grendian of Providence, RI, Bobby Broussard of Milton, and Buddy Broussard of Milton; two daughters, Lisa Broussard Duhon of Milton and Michelle Broussard of Milton; a sister, Dorothy Dot Decou of Milton; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Lorena Owens Broussard. Serving as pallbearers will be Sha Broussard, Christopher Broussard, Daniel Abshire, Alberta Broussard Milazzo, Earline Broussard, and Danny Broussard Grendian.
