Zane Broussard

New Iberia " Memorial services will be conducted for Zane Patrick Broussard, 51, on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 6:30 PM at David Funeral Home with Father Jude Halphen officiating.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM on Monday, December 28, 2009 until 8:00 PM.

A native of New Iberia and a resident of Lafayette, Mr. Broussard died on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at his residence. He was a salesman for Jem Products in New Iberia and also a construction supervisor for E. P. Breaux Electrical. He was an Eagle Scout, he liked to cook, hunt and fish and loved the outdoors. He loved to watch the Saints and in high school he loved to participate in sports and was an outstanding athlete. He liked to socialize and have a good time.

He is survived by his sons, Ryan Patrick Broussard of Lafayette and Rustin Paul Broussard and his wife Jennifer of Broussard; his parents, Reving Rev Broussard, Jr. and Jackie Honey Penn Broussard of New Iberia; his brothers, Reving Slick Broussard, III of Lafayette, Clint Alfred Beefy Broussard, Troy Louis Broussard and Charles Oliver Beef Broussard all of New Iberia; his sister, Holly Broussard Geerts of Midland, TX: his former wife, Alice Marie Talley of Broussard and numerous nieces and nephews.
