Youngsville " A Celebration of Life service will be held for Mr. Darrell T-Darrell Charles Broussard, 47, at 4:00PM on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Pastor Jay Miller officiating. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM and will resume on Thursday from 8:00AM until the time of services. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Broussard. A native of Lafayette and resident of Youngsville, T-Darrell passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at his residence. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his sons, Jacob Broussard and spouse Rachael Guidry of Broussard, Daniel Broussard and wife Hillary of Alabama, and Jordan Broussard of Broussard; his brothers, Dallas Broussard and wife Annie, Paul James Broussard and wife Eula Lee, Caroll Broussard and wife Betty, Harold Broussard and wife Brenda, Eldes Broussard and wife Diane, and Wayne Broussard and wife Lawana; his sisters, Mary Mouton and husband Mike, Mildred Seaux and husband Darryl, Gayle Hayes and husband Larry, and Barbara Romero and husband David; his grandchildren, Shantel Guidry, Alexis Broussard, Alyssa Broussard and Christian Broussard; one granddaughter on the way, Macie Joy Broussard; and by the mother of his children, Rebecca Broussard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldes and Mayveline Romero Broussard; and his nephew, Jake Broussard. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Broussard, Jordan Broussard, Jacob Broussard, Joshua Romero, Eldes Broussard III and Jude Broussard.
