Gladys Emonet Tauzin

May 29, 1921 — July 28, 2010

Loreauville "Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Moise Tauzin the former Gladys Emonet, Age 89, at 2:00PM Friday July 30, 2010 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Paul Onugebe officiating. Interment will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday July 30, 2010 from 9:00AM until service time. A Rosary will be prayed Friday at 11:00AM.

A native of Arnaudville and longtime resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Tauzin died Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 9:15AM in a local health care facility. She enjoyed sewing and playing bingo.

Survivors include one son, Merlin Pete Tauzin and companion Linda Horton of Bull Island; a sister, Armance Emonet of Abbeville and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Moise Tauzin; parents, Arcade and Alida Laviolette Emonet; brothers, Placide, Rodney and Hervey Emonet and a sister, Pearl LoLo Bergeron.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
