John R. Lowe, Sr.

Interment will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery in Jeanerette.

The family requests visiting hours Friday April 17, 2009 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will resume Saturday April 18, 2009 from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Mr. Lowe passed away Tuesday April 14, 2009 in Montgomery, Alabama. Mr. Lowe was a native of Baltimore, Maryland and a resident of Montgomery, Alabama for the last 23 years.

Mr. Lowe was a member of the Montgomery County Bowling Association. He enjoyed Nascar racing and was an avid L.S.U. fan.

Mr. Lowe is survived by his wife, Jana Robbins Lowe of Montgomery, Alabama. His mother, Julia Ann Ward Willis of New Iberia; his son, Jeffery R. Lowe, Sr. and his wife Debra of Jeanerette; his step son, Ryan Sutton and his wife Tiffany of Wetumpka, Alabama; his brothers, Karl F. Lowe, Jr. and his wife Sharron, and Bernard Lowe and his wife Phyllis both of Baltimore, Maryland, and Thomas Lowe and his companion Crystal Toffier of St. Martinville; his sisters, Sue Rodriguez of Baltimore, Maryland, Mary Broussard, Judy Nowlin, and Linda Reaux all of New Iberia; his grandchildren, Gage Borel, Savanah Guillotte, Chloe Lowe, Jeffery Lowe, Jr., Hailey Sutton and Logan Sutton;his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Gerri Robbins of Montgomery, Alabama;his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jeff and Nancy Ezell of Prattville,Alabama; his godchildren; Thomas Lowe and Erina Lowe and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Pallbearers will be family and friends of Mr. Lowe.

Mr. Lowe was preceded in death by his father Karl Frank Lowe, Sr., a son, John R. Lowe, Jr., a sister, Theresa Lowe; his step father, Glenn Willis; his brother-in-law William A. Bill Broussard, and his step mother, Charlene Lowe.
