Louise Romero

A native of Youngsville and a resident of Coteau Mrs. Romero died at 3:00AM on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at her residence. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, which was called Granny by her family; loved going to the casino and playing poker. She also enjoyed holding and rocking kids. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Concept Home Health and St. Theresa Hopice.

She is survived by two sons, Albert Romero of Coteau and Keith and his wife Tammy Romero of Coteau; two daughters, Ruby Romero Duck and her husband Robert of Abbeville and Susie Romero of Coteau; three brothers, George Romero of Port Arthur, TX, Cebre Romero of Erath, and Alex Romero of Youngsville; a sister, Winniebelle Menard of Coteau; twenty grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elias Romero; her parents, Clerphy and Corrine Romero Romero; three sons, Carlton Romero, Curley Romero, and Harris Romero; a granddaughter, Tonia Racca, and a great grandson, Andre Racca.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kirk Romero, Todd Romero, Kevin Duck, Harris Romero, Jr., Stuart Billeaud, Richard Dale Menard, Kendall Romero, and Scott Romero.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Albert Romero, Keith Romero, and Robert Duck

David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
