New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Kenneth Guillot, the former Mammie Lee Romero, age 65, at 2:00 PM Tuesday March 17, 2009 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Fr. Donovan Labbe officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be Monday, March 16, 2009 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM, and Tuesday from 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed Monday at 6:00 PM.

Mrs. Guillot went to meet Jesus after her ten month battle with cancer on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 10:25 PM at her residence in Bayou Jack.

She was a member of the Social Housewives Club, member of the Boat Club, Cafeteria Workers Association both local and national, and secretary/bookkeeper for Guillot Roofing and Foam Insulation. She was a devoted, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Some of the activities she enjoyed were shopping with her sisters, playing pokeno, bonco and cheering for her grandchildren at all sports activities. Winning Grandmother Cheerleader of the Year.

Remaining to cherish her memory include her Husband: Kenneth Guillot, Children: Monique G. Khamphilavong and her husband Keo of New Iberia, Lanette G. Lopez and her husband Marshal of New Iberia, Sisters: Helen Dean Romero and her husband Russell of Coteau, Brenda Castille and her husband Eric of Lafayette, Grandchildren: Brady Landry and his wife Stacy, Kyle Khamphilavong, Kaylon Khamphilavong, Matthew Khamphilavong, Colby Lopez, Donavan Lopez, Gabrielle Lopez, Kamryn Guillot, Zoe LaCour, Bryce LaCour, and future Great Grandchild: Blake Clair Landry.

Preceding Mammie Lee in death is her Son: Cory Guillot, Parents: Victor and Maude LeBlanc Romero, Brother: Kenneth Romero.

Pallbears will be: Russell Romero, Eric Castille, Ross Castille, Marshal Lopez, Keo Khamphilavong, Brady Landry, Ron LaCour and Butch Comeaux.
