Youngsville - Funeral Services will be held for Rocke J. Fox, 62, at 1:00PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at First Lutheran Church in Lafayette with Rev. Dr. Kenneth Burke officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 10:00AM until time of services. Rocke passed away at 3:07PM on Wednesday, December 23, 2009. He worked for Searle Laboratories in Skokie, IL, Frierson Electric in Buras, LA and most recently for Chevron. Rocke had a passion for woodworking, gardening and fishing. He enjoyed riding his Harley, working on old cars and he especially loved spending time with his family and friends. Rocke Fox was quite a different cat with a really big heart. He is survived by his wife, Linda Schroeder Fox of Youngsville; his daughters, Roxanne Fox of Youngsville and Yvonne Duck Fox of New Iberia; his son, Duke Fox of Youngsville; his grandchildren, Hootie, Dustin, Dominique, Dakota, Hunter, Haden and Jacelyn; his father, Harry Fox of Capron, Oklahoma; and his sisters, Karla, Brenna and Toni. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Shirley Fox; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
