Loving Father and Grandfather Loreauville " Funeral Services will be conducted for Clyde Joseph Warfel, Sr., Age 57, at 11:00AM Tuesday December 29, 2009 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday December 28, 2009 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday from 8:00AM until service time. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Warfel was an avid outdoorsman who was a member of the Berard Hunting Club. Survivors include his children, Stefanie Doucet Hughes and husband Darren of Youngsville, Jill Warfel and Clyde Warfel Jr. and wife Ambre all of Loreauville; one brother, Oscar Warfel of New Iberia and a sister, Toni Garrison and husband Richard of Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Blake, Trey and Taylor Doucet and Madison, Katelin and Bret Hughes all of Youngsville and Shayla Warfel and Addison Smith both of Loreauville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darnell Marie Mayer Warfel and his parents, Oscar and Doris Fontenot Warfel. Pallbearers will be Johnny Warfel, Raymond Louviere, Ricky Mayer, Blake and Trey Doucet and Sandy Sonnier. Honorary pallbearers will be Farris and Jimmy Romero.
