Joyce Louviere Albert

Loreauville " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Clevens Kive Albert the former Joyce Louviere, Age 74 at 2:00PM Monday February 22, 2010 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday February 21, 2010 from 11:00AM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Monday from 8:00AM until service time.

An Angel of God deserving of her wings went to meet Our Almighty on Friday Feb. 19, 2010 at 7:27PM. A native and lifelong resident of Loreauville Joyce was a kind, compassionate and gentle woman. She believed in the value of family and keeping peace at all cost. She enjoyed eating out with family and friends and hours at the casino. In the last years of her life she loved life like she was dying. At the drop of her mop she would hop a ride, never knowing where she was going but eager to get there.

Survivors include her husband, Clevens Kive Albert; children, Alton NuNu Albert and wife June of Bayou LOurse, Melanie Poulette Evans and husband Jimmy, Monique Ca-Ca Broussard and husband Jeff and Ricky Ricko Albert and wife Anne all of Loreauville and Jody Dupont and husband Eric of Breaux Bridge; her twin brother JerryLouviere of New Iberia and Ury and JuniusLouviere of Loreauville; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Josephine Melancon Louviere, brothers, Collins, Lloyd, Clarence, Claude, Fernest and Moise Louviere; a sister, Yolande L. Viator and a son in law Ricky Faucheaux.

Pallbearers will be Shawn, Shane and Kaleb Albert, Blair and Brandon Faucheaux and Kylin Broussard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bevon Faucheaux, Taylor and Kenzie Dupont and Ridge Albert and Kagon Broussard
