Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Charles Roy Thibodeaux, 75, will be held at 3:30PM on Monday, March 30, 2009 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Erath with Father Wayne Duet Officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath beginning Monday, March 30, 2009 at 9:00AM until the time of the Services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
A native of Youngsville, and resident of Erath, Mr. Charles passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 6:45Pm at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette. Mr. Charles was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. Mr. Thibodeaux served his country in the Army from 1955 to 1957.
Survivors include his wife, Melba D. Thibodeaux of Erath; two daughters, Anne Hebert of Erath and Nicole Fontenot of Lawtell; two sons, Sonny Adam of Florida, and Travis Adam of Jonesboro, Louisiana; and a brother, John Haywood Thibodeaux of Youngsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tobin and Elda Melancon Thibodeaux; one brother, Ernest BB Tibodeaux; a sister, Wennie T. Smith; and a grandson, Dillan Flatt.
David Funeral Home of Erath, 209 E. Putnam Street, (337) 937-0405 will be handling the Arrangements.
