Sam Cuccio

New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Sam Cuccio, 60, on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jude Halphen officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 1, 2010 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Cuccio died on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010 at 6:30 AM in a Lafayette hospital. He liked horse racing and going to the casino.

He is survived by his brothers, Frank Cuccio, Joseph Joe Cuccio, Jr. and John Cuccio all of New Iberia and his sister, Catherine Primeaux of Bull Island.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Cuccio, Jr. and Josephine Rosella Cuccio and his brother Lou Cuccio.

Pallbearers will be Frank Cuccio, Andy Soileau, Tom Brisco and Steve Toups.

The family would like to thank and prefer memorials to Hospice of Acadiana at 2600 Johnston St. Suite 200 in Lafayette, LA 70503.
