Mr. Boudreaux a native and resident of Erath died at 7:25PM on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at a Lafayette hospital. He was retired from the Louisiana Department of Agriculture after over 35 years of service. Mr. Paul was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and also an avid horse racing fan.
He is survived by three sons, Eric Boudreaux and his wife Laurie of Kenai, Alaska, John Boudreaux and his wife Julie of Erath, and Adam Boudreaux and his wife Sara of Smyrna, GA; two daughters, Mary and her husband Brandon Broussard of Lafayette, and Laur Boudreaux and companion Dolla Sonnier of Erath; former wife Lois LeBlanc Lanphear; and eight grandchildren, Nick Boudreaux, Tyler Boudreaux, Micah Boudreaux, Jacob Boudreaux, Megan Broussard, Kiersten Boudreaux, Mitchell Boudreaux, and Zachary Boudreaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernis and Helen Sandoz Boudreaux; a twin brother; and a grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers will be Nick, Tyler, Micah, and Jacob Boudreaux, Russell Suire, and Tommy Vincent.
Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Wilmer Dugas.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Maison de Lafayette, where Mr. Boudreaux lived his last two years, for the excellent care given to their dad.
