Abbeville - A Mass of Christian Burial for Jan Christine Hebert Liebsch, 59, will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, April 13, 2009 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Art Bakeler officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville beginning Sunday, April 12, 2009 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM, with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, April 13, 2009 beginning at 9:00Am until the time of the services. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. A native of New Orleans, and a resident of Kingwood, Texas, Jan passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 at her residence. Jan is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Liebsch; daughters Cheryl Armstrong, Charlene Smith, and Amber Young and husband Nick; father Dr. Ardly Hebert and wife Beatrice; grandson Tommy Armstrong; brothers Robert Hebert and wife Carolynne, David Hebert and wife Mary, and Christopher Hebert; sisters Tessa Hebert, and Serena Bailey and husband Bret. She was preceded in death by her mother Elaine Duclos Hebert. Serving as pallbearers will be her son-in-law Nick Young; nephews Sam Hebert, John Hebert, Tom Hebert, Jason Williamson; and grandson Tommy Armstrong. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Houston Hospice. David Funeral Home of Abbeville at 2600 Charity St. (337)893-3777 will be handling the arrangements.
