Abbeville " Funeral Services for Mr. J. William Bill Fuller will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, April 13, 2009 at the Abbeville United Methodist Church with Rev. John Vining officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville beginning on Sunday, April 12 ,2009 at 2:00PM until 8:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, April 13, 2009 from 9:00AM until the time of the services. A native of Wauconda, Illinois, and a resident of Abbeville, Mr. Fuller passed away at 5:30PM on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Fuller was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who loved spending time with his family. Bill also enjoyed yard work and kept his yard immaculate.. Bill was employed at Abbot Labs for four years. Then was a sales representative for Deluxe Check Printing for over 30 years. Mr. Fuller served his country in the Army from 1961 to 1963. He was a member of the American Legion, Elks Club, Society of Mayflower Descendents, Sons of the American Revolution, Illinois Prairie Pioneer, Fuller Society, TRIAD, Confrerie d Abbeville, and the Abbeville Country Club. Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Betty Nunez Fuller of Abbeville; a devoted daughter, Alison Fuller Carter, and her husband Gary L Carter of Mire; his grandchildren,Madison Victoria and Mackenzie Lynn Carter of Mire, Eric Lynn and Kyle Kenneth Carter of Lafayette; a brother, Douglas E. Fuller of Terry, Mississippi; a brother-in-law, Owen John Nunez and his wife Norma of Spring, Texas; a niece, Lee Ann Fuller of Brandon, Mississippi; two great nephews, Brian and Corey; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Fuller and Beulah Bassett Fuller; and a daughter, Victoria Lynn Fuller.
