Baron J. "Bud" Bayard, Jr.

March 7, 1958 — March 5, 2010

New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Baron J. Bud Bayard, Jr., age 51, Monday, March 8, 2010 at 1:00PM at St. Peters Catholic Church with Fr. Charles Langlois officiating. Visitation will be Monday, March 8, 2010 from 9:00AM until the time of service. A Rosary will be prayed at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Mausoleum.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Bayard passed away Friday, March 05, 2010 at 6:25AM in a local hospital. Bud enjoyed fishing, was an avid Saints Football fan and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his parents, Baron J. Bayard, Sr. and Alicia Lopez Bayard of New Iberia; his sisters, Katherine B. Broussard and husband Keith of Orlando, FL; Sherry A. Bayard, Marjorie B. Poirrier and husband Mark; his brother, John A. Bayard and wife Nanette, all of New Iberia; and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bayard was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Cleus Lopez.and his paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Beverly Bayard.

Serving as pallbearers will be John A. Bayard, Keith Broussard, Sr., Mark Poirrier, Steven Bayard, Ridge Poirrier, Cecil Bayard, Broc Richard and Phillip Bayard.
