Abbeville " A Memorial Service for Mr. Gregory Jude Moss, 56 will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 4:00PM with Father Brad Guillory officiating. Mr. Moss, a native and resident of Abbeville, passed away at 10:45PM on Friday, March 5, 2010 at a local Lafayette Hospital. Mr. Moss was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who loved spending time with his family. Gregory worked in the oil field as a facility manager with Newpark Drilling for over ten years and was a member of the NRA. He is survived by his wife, Mary Mooney Luquette Moss of Abbeville; his son, Trent Moss of New Orleans; his daughter, Bridgette Broussard of Abbeville; brother, Jimmy Moss of Abbeville; sister, Stephanie Tompkins of Washington; and two grandsons, Steven R. Barousse, II and Collin D. Barousse of Abbeville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lincoln J. Moss, Sr. and Lula Vice Moss Beatty.
