New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Dudley A. Marie, Sr., the former Zella Froment, Age 108, at 10:00AM Friday April 10, 2009 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday April 9, 2009 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Friday from 8:00AM until time of service.

A native of Galveston, Texas, and a resident of New Iberia Mrs. Marie died April 7, 2009 at 3:25 PM at her residence.

Survivors include her son, Dudley A. Marie, Jr. of New Iberia, her nephew Patrick Weathersby and wife Carol of New Iberia, her niece Ann Weathersby Clasen and husband Darcy of New Iberia, her great niece who resided with her, Raine Weathersby Zaunbrecher of New Iberia, and her dear devoted caretaker Esther Wolfe; of New Iberia .

She was preceded in death by her husband Dudley A. Marie, Sr., sister, Yvette Froment Weathersby, and parents, Alexandre Froment and Blanche Beaullieu Froment.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
