Kevin Dale Mouton

Kevin Dale Mouton lost his long battle with cancer on April 29, 2009. He was born in 1952 in Scott, LA and raised in Youngsville where he spent most of his life. After becoming a master automotive technician and a proficient jack-of-all-trades, Kevin taught Automotive Technology at LTC-Teche area campus until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of the SPAP and was a charter member of the OOL. Kevin will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Robin Moody; a son, Kaleb Mouton and wife Dawn of Kaplan; two daughters, Keisha Perron and husband Chris of Lafayette and Kiera Frey and husband Philip of Rayne; and a stepson, Lamon Moody IV and wife Amanda of Slaughter. He is also survived by four sisters, Andrea Saal and husband Stephen, Velma Broussard, Jeanette Guidry and husband Floyd and Sharon Broussard and husband Mark; ten grandchildren; a favorite aunt, Edna Mae Mouton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mary Ann Yockey Mouton; two brothers, Dana Mouton and Craig Ducharme; and two nephews.

The family would like to express thanks to the wonderful staff of Hospice of Acadiana, the doctors and the staffs of Dr. Luis Meza, Dr. Caletri, and Dr. Mark Charbonnet.
