Brenda Bumgarden Mccallister

New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Charles L. McCallister, Jr., the former Brenda Bumgarden, age 62, Friday, May 7, 2010 at 3:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia with Pastor Kenneth Leleux officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 7, 2010 from 9:00AM until the time of service at 3:00PM. Interment will follow in Abshire Cemetery in Kaplan.

A native of Jennings and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. McCallister passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 9:25AM at her residence. Brenda loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Charles L. McCallister, Jr. of New Iberia; her sons, Terrel Bumgarden and wife Joy of New Iberia and Brendon McCallister of New Iberia; her daughters, Trandy McCallister and companion Profit Jenkins, Jr. of New Iberia and Kimla McDaniel of Philadelphia, PA; her sister, Sandra Bumgarden of Erath; her brother, Ronnie Bumgarden of Erath; her grandchildren, Jene, Miguel, Jace, Justin, Clayton, Gavin, April, and Abreylle, and her great-grandchildren, Alena and Khloe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emile Bumgarden and Eloise Toni Lejune Leblanc, and her sister, Bonnie Bumgarden.

Serving as pallbearers will be Profit Jenkins, Jr., Justin Lombardo, Ronnie Bumgarden, Neil Vincent, Anthony Landry and Jace Lagneaux.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brendon McCallister and Trent Vincent.
