Abbeville "Memorial Services will be held for Mr. Charles Gregory Schnell, 58, at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at David Funeral Home of Abbeville with Pastor Robert Wells officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 10:00AM until the time of service. A native of New Orleans, and a resident of Abbeville, Charles passed away at 11:45PM on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at a local hospital. Charles was a loving father and brother who enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Schnell had been employed as a computer tech with AT&T for 35 years. He is survived by his daughter Eden Jones and her husband Gregory Lynn of Lafayette; his son, Charles Matthew Schnell of Abbeville; a brother, Louis Schnell of Abbeville; and sister Carol S. Johnson and her husband Rondald of New Orleans. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Alice Willis Schnell.
