Laurine Pullin Prejean

Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Renes Prejean, the former Laurine Pullin, 90, will be held at 3:00PM on Monday, April 27, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Monday, April 27, 2009 from 10:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. Mrs. Prejean, a native of Henry, and a resident of Abbeville, passed away at 1:30AM on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Prejean was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother, who loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her three daughters, Sheryl P. Theriot and her husband Allen of Biloxi, Mississippi, Charlene P. Brasseaux and her husband Dwight of Abbeville, and Laudean P. Primeaux and her husband Michael of Slidell; six grandchildren, Dwight A. Brasseaux, Jr. of Kaplan, Jeremy A. Brasseaux of Abbeville, Jarrod D. Simar of Biloxi, Mississippi, Lane C. Simar of Byron, Georgia, Josh B. Primeaux of Jacksonville, Florida, and Heidi Gremilion of St. Martinville; eleven great-grandchildren, Montana Brasseaux, Elliott Brasseaux, Daelin Brasseaux, Courtney Brasseaux, Callie Brasseaux, Austin Simar, Hunter Marie Simar, Chloe Simar, Ella Rose Simar, Ella Claire Primeaux, and Bailey Dehart; and one great great-grandchild, Austin Brasseaux. She was preceded in death by her husband, Renes Joseph Prejean, her parents, Aubrey Pullin and Theozile Broussard Pullin; one grandson Shawn Theriot; one brother, Thomas Pullin; and two sisters, Lenny P. Mayard and Irene P. LeBlanc. Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Theriot, Dwight Brasseaux, Sr., Michael Primeaux, Jarrod Simar, Lane Simar, and Lambert Pullin. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Earl Lee, Jr. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Acadiana and her caretakers, Elsie Marks, Tammy Stakes, Maxine Hardy, Janeene Broussard, Lou Allen and Bridget Allen.
