Johnny Collins

New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Mr. Johnny A. Collins, Age 66, at 1:00PM Monday April 27, 2009 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Richard Fabre officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum in Delcambre. Visitation will begin Monday April 27, 2009 from 10:00AM until service time.

A native of Cut Off and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Collins died Friday April 24, 2009 at 6:15PM at his residence. Mr. Collins worked for Iberia Parish Sheriffs Office for 10 years. He was a security guard at Chase Towers in Lafayette.

Survivors include two nephews, Danny Collins and wife Sandra of Cut Off, Edward Collins III and wife Sara; two nieces, Corrine Bourg and husband Leo, and Jody Guillot and husband Jude, all of Cut Off.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Terrebonne Collins; parents, Edward Collins and Marie Callahan Collins; brothers, Edward Collins, Linberth Collins, and Frankie Collins.

Pallbearers will be friends and family of Mr. Collins.
