Lafayette- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Wallace Boby Wilford Debo, Jr., 52, will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard with Father Howard Blessing officiating the services. A celebration of Mr. Debos life will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 beginning at 2:00PM until 10:00PM with a Rosary being recited at 7:00PM and will resume on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 9:00AM until time of services. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. A native of Alexandria and resident of Lafayette, Mr. Debo went to meet our Lord peacefully on June 27, 2010. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, playing cards and riding his Harley. He was loyal to his job as a Wireline Engineer for several service companies for the past 30 Years. He loved spending time with his family and friends on the patio while hitting the ball for his dog, Smokey. He also loved visiting with his son, listening to his daughter sing and playing with his grandson. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Brenda B. Debo of Lafayette; his daughter, Ashley Nikki Blasini and husband Marcel of Lafayette; his son, Jonathan A. Debo of Lafayette; his grandson, Anthony Ryan Blasini of Lafayette; his mother, Beatrice Griffin Behan of Lafayette; his brother, Richard D. Debo and wife Anna of Youngsville; his sisters, Mary Beth Hines and husband Barry of Alexandria and Martha Harrington and husband William of Youngsville. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Debo, Sr. Serving as pallbearers will be David Gautreau, Edward Parrish, Everett Hines, Andrew Hines, David Harrington and Christopher Bordelon. David Funeral Home of Lafayette, 316 Youngsville Hwy., (337) 837-9887, is in charge of the arrangements.
